Speaking of songs, I want to do a House/Wilson fanmix because it's so le trendy right now, but I can only think of two a few songs. Also, my brain is refusing to be coherent today, so nothing I say is making any sense.

Definitely from a House POV. House and Wilson are seriously fucked up people, each in their own way. They stay friends through it all. Wilson iwas the one to 'pick up the pieces' after Stacy left and we know House was the first person Wilson went to when his marriage ended. The whole song fits them, not just those few lines.

Pink Floyd - Wish You Were Here

Something about this song just says House/Wilson. Wilson goes to House after the 'fight' with Julie. Wilson is the only person House trusts. In a way, they're each other's anchor.

I don't think it's possible for House & Wilson to ever really be together forever. Neither one are the ever lasting love type, especially Wilson. A lot of ficwriters make use of the phrase 'he's in love with love' and that I think really describes him. He likes falling in love, but the honeymoon always ends too soon.

House is so screwed up. That's a very crude way of putting it, but it's true. From what I can tell, he wasn't exactly the greatest of guys before the infarction, and now he's just a miserable sod. Wilson is his lifeline, for lack of a less cheesy word. (I didn't pick this song because of the mention of pills since House refuses to face the fact that he's addicted, not really anyway)

I'm thinking House POV again. He's an asshole, but he hides his pain at the same time. To most people (like the PotW) he's just a jerk with a limp. But Wilson knows it's more than that. He can see when House is feeling like utter shit, instead of his usual state of crappiness.

ACTUALLY upon listening to this song again, I think it's more of a Wilson POV. So just change the names around and take out adjectives synonymous with cripple and it reads the same way.

 Once again, whole song applies, not just the excerpt. The first part seems to be about Wilson, then House, and back again...

1) House is a risk taker
2) House is always there for Wilson when his marriages dissolve
